American Standard needed a way of measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of its talent management initiatives, linking these initiatives to business results (sales productivity and safety), and using the resultant insights to drive continuous improvement. Working with American Standard over a 5 year period, McBassi implemented the HCC Scorecard methodology several times on a global basis, and helped the company to make it an integral discipline by which it ran its business. When American Standard was sold at a substantial premium in early 2008, executives attributed a significant portion of this premium to the company's partnership with McBassi.
