GTSI's new CEO concluded that developing a coherent, competitive human
capital strategy was essential to the company's ability to survive
and to regain its declining market share. As a first step, the Washington-based
technology contractor deployed McBassi's HCC Scorecard (now McBassi People Index®) measurement methodology, with the intent of identifying the specific drivers of employee commitment (including employees' intention to stick with GTSI through its recovery). The analysis revealed a specific path forward that GTSI is currently pursuing in its efforts to retain these key employees.
