In response to criticism from the U.S. General Accounting Office regarding the lack of a strategic human capital management plan for the organization, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) at U.S. Customs and Border Patrol contracted with McBassi to implement the McBassi People Index® framework among both employees and contractors.
McBassi collected and analyzed all data, producing a report that documented the organization's strengths and weaknesses and provided a prioritized set of fact-based recommendations for achieving better organizational results through improved human capital management and development.
